Shae is a Shar Pei cross dog who is a victim of today's society. She was left in the pound to die by her thoughtless breeder/owner. We saved her from death and ending up in the freezer at the local University.Related content

I was just looking through pei pix and saw your baby! She looks very much like our Shar-pei mix, Shane (I think he's half couch-potato), who is also a black/tan with a regal head. We got our baby 12 years ago at a shelter, too! Peis can be some of the most difficult breeds to re-home, so kudos to you! Thank you for sharing you pic & story!

What a cutie! It's nice to know people care enough to do something about dogs that would end up dead or for medical "experiments", I guess you could say, by referring to a freezer at a university. Poor thing.
