Recently someone on DA commented that Getz was very thin, so I thought I would put this picture up to show people what he looked like when we got him. This is him after he had his first bath in 7 years.

Getz endured neglect for 7 years at the hands of his old owners and he lived in a dirt paddock and was viciously and continually attacked by a nasty mare that he was kept with. That is why he is covered in all the black scars.

Getz is a thoroughbred, which is the greyhounds of the horse world. He is bred to be lean and thin and no matter how much I feed him he will never be as fat or as round as other horse breeds.

I love Getz very much and we make sure he is loved and fed well and he will be a part of our family until it's his time to go to heaven.
