Toxic positivity is so harmful. It invalidates, shames, and side steps people's feelings.
I've found that it's been on the rise in the last couple of years, and while it can be good to have an optimistic outlook, completely ignoring everything bad can be incredibly destructive.
Sometimes negative emotions must be dealt with head on.
