A reference sheet for the main character of the modern storyline of my fanfic, “Anthem”

Name: Ava Arlie

Born: May 3, 1996; Raleigh, North Carolina

Allegiance: Assassins

Bio: Ava was born in Raleigh in 1996. Ava has almost no memories of her father, as he was gone by the time she was four. Ava was thus raised by her mother and grandmother, who loved her dearly. Ava grew up with her grandmother's tales of Native American heroes, defending their people from foreign invaders. Ava always loved hearing these stories, and she would carry their morals through her life. Her mother raised her to be strong and independent, and to always strive for success. And so that's what Ava did.

After finishing high school in 2014, Ava applied to the college of her choice and got accepted. She worked hard and overcame all the struggles that were thrown at her, no matter how tiring they were. She got a job at Abstergo Industries that year to help her pay for college and general life stuff. Ava worked as a clerk, and met several friends at her job, including Ben Dylan, who became one of her best friends. One day while sorting threw files, Ava stumbled across a top secret Abstergo operation. She ignored it at first but she soon found that she had already seen too much. And the next night, she found herself kidnapped and locked away in a secret room.

There, she first encountered the Templar order, the true masterminds behind Abstergo. They forced her into an Animus and made her relive the genetic memories of her ancestor, Kahente, a Croatoan member of the Assassin Brotherhood who went on a mission during the disappearance of the lost colony of Roanoke. The Templars intended to use these memories to find a Piece of Eden, but they were ultimately killed by the Assassins, Ben Dylan and Rebecca Crane. The two broke Ava out and explained everything to her. The three later traveled to Roanoke and destroyed the Piece of Eden that Kahente had found centuries ago. After that, Ava realized there was no going back to normal life, and so she joined the Assassins in their fight against the Templars. Now her friends are working to help train her to become a skilled warrior. And where that journey will take her, she has yet to know.
