Description The party continued in Canterlot.  Only, now, the party was for a different celebration.  Princess Luna stood on the stage in the royal gardens, and by her side was her older sister.  Two pegasi flew over to them and placed a necklace of flowers around Celestia’s neck.  She smiled at her little sister as they flew away.  Luna returned the smile.  She had missed her sister.  She was glad to have her back.  The crowd cheered for the reunited siblings.  The Elements and Derpy’s daughters were cheering louder than anypony else.  Ponies filled the streets.  Everyone was celebrating being alive after everything that had happened.

Later that night, the Elements wandered into the castle’s dining area.  Luna stepped from within the chatting crowd, and addressed the Doctor.  “Doctor, I wanted to personally thank you.  You’ve saved us all once again,” she said.  The Doctor couldn’t help but smile.  “Oh, it’s nothing.  I’m happy to…”  He paused, thinking about the princess’s statement.  “Once again?  What do you mean by that?”  She gave him a look as if to make him think a moment longer.  The realization hit the Doctor.  “Oh,” he said as his face lit up.  “Oh.  Oh.  Oh!  So that means…”  Luna nodded.

“You have many adventures ahead of you, Doctor.  You have many enemies to face and many friends to make.”  She was about to say more, but the Doctor lifted a hoof to silence her.  “That’s all I need to know for now.  Rule number one of time travel: no spoilers,” he said.  Luna nodded in understanding.  “In that case, perhaps you should send reports about your adventures.  It would help us to avoid scrambled events.”  The Doctor seemed to like the idea.  “Very well then.  I think that’s a decent plan,” he said.

The Doctor glanced over at his friends, who were still celebrating.  “Go on,” said Luna.  “Adventure awaits.”  The Doctor smiled and nodded.  He said his goodbyes, and then walked across the room.

His friends glanced over just in time to see him exit the dining room.  “Where’s he off to?” asked Octavia.  “I don’t know.  Let’s go find out,” said Bon Bon.  The Elemental mares and Derpy’s daughters exited the room, looking to see where the Doctor went.  They saw him enter the throne room, the room the TARDIS had landed in.  They walked in to see him casually leaning against the blue box.

“You’re not leaving, are you?” asked Amethyst.  The Doctor shrugged.  “Yeah.  I’m afraid I am.  I could never stay in one place for too long.”  The mares seemed sorry to hear this.  “So where are you heading to next?” asked Derpy.  The Doctor shrugged again.  “Well, I don’t really know.  I can’t go back to my own universe without being atomized, so I’m stuck in this one.  Problem is I don’t really know anything about this universe.  I could really use a guide.”  He gave a small smile.  “Or several.”

The mares realized what he was saying.  Dinky seemed excited.  “You want us to come with you?” she said.  The mares gave the Doctor a look.  He raised his eyebrows.  “What do you say?” he asked with a glimmer of hope in his voice.  The mares exchanged looks, considering the option.  “Is it always as dangerous as what we’ve been through?” asked Derpy.

“Yes,” replied the Doctor was a blank face.  The mares exchanged more looks.  They all smiled.  “Is it always this exciting?” asked Derpy.  The Doctor’s smile returned.  “Oh, yes,” he said.

“Count us in.”  Hearing this caused the Doctor to give a joyous laugh.  He turned to open the doors of the TARDIS.  All eight ponies rushed in.  The doors closed behind them.  The Doctor ran over to the control panel.  He hit a series of buttons and switches.  He placed a hoof on a large lever.  His seven friends rushed to his side, ready to take off.  “Andiamo!” he yelled.  He yanked on the lever.

The room rumbled.  The engines let off their familiar roar. The central column began its steady rise and fall.  The light on the blue box flashed as the TARDIS began to fade out of existence.  After a few moments, the throne room was empty once again.  The noise of the TARDIS engines lingered in the air for a few short seconds, before it faded away, following the eight friends on their adventures in time and space.
