It is very common to see someone in the city pounding out a living be doing disgusting or back breaking labor that the rest of us city folk could not be bothered with, like this old lady who picks up plastic in front of my house. I wonder.. how much more wise and smart is this woman than someone living well inside a cozy home with all their amenities. What has she seen and done and how much has she learned?
With people like this.. I always wonder how much I could learn from them.. how they put themselves through meticulous and tedious jobs like this just to scrape out an existance.

Ah this makes me sad... I find it a terrible shame that people have to live like this. But then again, you're right. They're cleaning the enviroment. But you know, I'm wondering how she feels in this picture.. It's not everyday that someone comes along taking pictures of people like you do, regardless of their economy status if you know what I mean.. Wonderful capture.
