Description
This was done in tenth grade, so still a long time ago.

I began with a sketch in pencil and colored it in with good blending colored pencils. I then added shadows and highlights. It was in two art shows untill I took it home when my teacher wanted to keep it. But it was my favorite so I stole it away. The tree is actually a banzai tree that I found in one of my classrooms. ^_^

The story is that all the other fairies are playing and talking to each other except for the one fairy sitting alone. There is then another fairy who sees this and is deciding to go and befriend the sad lone fairy. It's kind of a moral of friendship and to be nice to others. (yeah, this was a long time ago)

There are many things I would do different with it now though. Such as make the water and the fairies more realistic. I would do better shading and a little more work on the background. I would create more depth also. BUT! I am still happy with it.
