Description As Waffle was standing in the rain, starting to leave, she noticed the door to the boutique open. A very pretty looking unicorn came out to see the three fillies, “Sweetie Belle? Apple Bloom? Scootaloo? What are you doing out in the rain, darlings? Do come inside.” She then noticed the gray pegasus that was fully getting rained on. “Oh dear, you too dear, come inside.” She said as she turned to go back into the building. The kids seemed to be used to her “elegant” nature as they followed her inside saying their hellos and talking about what happened, including getting Waffle’s help to keep them dry as they got here. Waffle walked inside shyly, but not before shaking away most of the water from her mane and feathers outside, then entered listening to their conversations and keeping her wings close to her body and covering her flank. Sweetie Belle continues, “Hey Rarity, tell Waffle about your adventures!” Then Apple Bloom hopped up and down, “How about all the adventures with you and your friends! Including my sister!” This fancy unicorn called “Rarity” then started to speak, looking up to the strange, smiling newcomer, “Waffle, was it? Were you interested in hearing my stories with my friends and I? The name’s Rarity by the way.” She seemed to look slightly nervous from the sharp, toothy smile that Waffle gave, but held onto her professionalism. “Oh hi, and yes! I’d love to hear your stories!” Waffle said in a loud, almost sarcastic tone. Rarity was unsure if she was actually wanting to hear about it or not, so she added, “Darling, if you don’t want to hear of my stories, you can say so. I promise I won’t be offended.” She’d then put her hoof over her chest, “I give you my word.” Waffle just stood in silence for a while, then just said, “Okay…?” with a confused look on her smiling face. She looked around as Rarity began searching for something. Before Waffle could ask, Rarity went “Aha! There it is.” and came back with a hair dryer, then a towel. “You must be cold from being soaking wet. Why don’t I dry you off?” Then before Waffle could refuse, she turned on the warm air dryer with her magic and started to blow her mane and feathers with it as her magic lifted the towel and used it to help dry the hair. Waffle actually enjoyed the hot air over her cool fur, drying it. It felt nice. She still looked uncomfortable with her large wings still down covering her flank. Once she was almost finished, Rarity then started to cover Waffle’s hat with her magic “Now, let’s take off that hat so we can dry the rest-'' All of a sudden Waffle’s mood changed drastically, “DON’T TOuCH mY HaT!” Waffle growled with an almost glitched voice. A crack then sounded from the back of the room, spooking everypony, including the three fillies. It was Rarity’s sewing machine! Rarity’s face went from scared, to confused, to horrified once she saw smoke coming from her favorite sewing machine and she put down her hair dryer once more and started panicking. “Oop…” Mumbled Waffle. Everyone looked at her. Waffle just continued with a growl and her teeth showing threateningly, “Just don't touch my hat without my permission first. My hat is sacred!” She said the last part jokingly with an unsettling grin again. The three fillies began to whisper to themselves, but Rarity looked more concerned than anything, “Did… did you just do that?” Waffle sat there for a minute with an almost annoyed looking smile, “What? Yell? Yes, I did.” Rarity repeated her question differently, “No I mean… Did you do that.” She then looked over to her machine that was clearly broken. “Who knows? Hey listen, I think the rain stopped.” Which was true now. They looked outside and there was sunshine again with only a few clouds in the sky. Rarity went up to the window to see, meanwhile, the CMC were clearly discussing something serious, but the one with the small wings yelped once she turned to see Waffle’s grin right by them, “Whatcha talkin about, kitties?” She asked happily, but with a hint of something else… Apple Bloom laughed nervously, “Ahaa, nothin’! We were just talkin’ about how we, uh, should go! Now that it’s stopped raining and all!” Scootaloo added, “Yeah, we have to meet somepony today.” Waffle gave a puzzled look, “Oh? You three sound like you have jobs to do, aren’t you a little young to be so busy?” The three looked at each other, then smiled back at her, wondering what to say next. After a few seconds, Waffle chuckled and cocked her head to the side, “You three are more mature than I thought, eh? Go ahead then. No one’s stopping you. Nice to meet you, Scootaloo, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle.” She then said lightly, “Hope to see you again before I leave.” The three looked at each other in surprise, “How did you know our names? We didn’t tell you about them...?” Waffle just turned to walk to Rarity, but said in a whisper, “The magic of listening~” she said in a monotone tone. After that, they galloped to the door and said their goodbyes to her and Rarity before leaving. Rarity went to open the door for them with her magic. Once they left, Rarity figured she could ask something that was bugging her, “I apologize about the hat, dear. I didn’t realize how special it was to you. But I must ask, why do you wear those goggles…?” She turned to see that Waffle was gone. “Where…?” She then yelped when another knock was at the door. She hesitantly opened it, only to see one of her friends, a blue pegasus with multicolored mane and tail. “Rainbow Dash? What are you doing here?” Dash looked panicked as she raced into Rarity’s boutique and closed the door. “Rarity! We might have a problem…”
