Description
In an attempt to get back to my painting roots and practice the basics, I'm starting "a painting a day project". Inspired by Carol marine's book "Daily Painting" all paintings will be 10"x10" and limited to 1.5 hrs total work time. Each painting will be exploring a specific painting technique or element. This week's (month?) theme will be color! This piece is working with complementary colors using orange as a base and blu to add depth.

I'm starting out with simple still life for now but hopefully I'll move on to faces, animals, etc.,
