Description
Keyda is the seventh addition to the Overlord's Harem, arrived few months after Naru. A Rotwalker Hellian that's native to the far Western Hellia Kingdom. Specifically a "Wormmaiden", Keyda's body is naturally home to leeches and otherwise disgusting worm inhabitants native in her region. The worms that are part of her body work to create special toxins, acids and rather gross extremities. The main leech is part of Keyda's biology acting as her tail, it sucks blood and Magi, converting it into energy for Keyda to use her natural abilities. Due to being a Wormmaiden, many Hellians keep their distance from her as touching her can lead to a flesh eating disease if she wills it. At the institute however in the Overlord's Castle, many have tried to find a way to weaponize Keyda's natural body functions as she can produce some world level apocalypses if she were to start spreading the plagues and diseases in her body. Keyda lived a quiet life in a cave in the Western Hellia Territories, the Flesh Eating Catacombs, a nightmarish place for even a non-native Hellian. Organic walls, a place that described to be disgusting and smelly, worse of all it reeks of death. Keyda would often make friends with the worms in the catacombs and the native bugs that are harmless towards her. One day, Keyda decided to embark on an adventure to the Overlord's Castle of Western Hellia, as it was Keyda's time to leave the nest. Despite being so young, Keyda tearfully leaves her parents and takes up her journey. During her journey, Keyda quickly finds how nobody wants to interact with her at all. She never knew the world outside of her home area and soon she was getting hungry, as her situation became more dire, suddenly Keyda's mind start going blank. Before she knew it, she terrorized the town she came upon, sucking the people's blood dry and inflicted a massive plague that wiped out the town within a half an hour. Soon, Keyda had a bounty placed on her head and she being hunted. News would soon reach other regions of Hellia and bounty hunters started looking for her. Keyda was getting tired to fighting the bounty hunters, though sucking them dry and eating them provided sustenance, this was not Keyda's desire. Eventually, Keyda is approached by Durandal and Sabrina, knowing that Sabrina can nullify any disease and toxins that Keyda's capable of. Durandal and Sabrina both engage Keyda in fierce battle, trading blows, but Keyda regenerates from every attack and her worms eventually tie down Sabrina. Naru steps in an confronts Keyda to convince her to stop fighting, seeing that Keyda is just looking for a place to find peace, Naru reaches out to her. Durandal tries to keep Naru back from Keyda, but Naru persists and reaches out to her. Keyda was touched by Naru's actions as she willing chooses to embrace her to calm her down. Naru was well aware of the risks of touching her, if Keyda truly wanted to make up for destroying the village, Naru trusted that Keyda wouldn't attack her. At this moment, the worms stopped attacking, setting Sabrina free from their grasp as Naru embraces her, something Keyda always missed away from home. So Keyda begins to trust Naru, hoping for a better life. Soon Durandal agrees to allow Keyda to join the Overlord's Harem, being that late her race is almost extinct according to the last census and for a Wormmadien, she is infect very beautiful.Keyda's has free spirited personality and although she's strange for making friends with worms and bugs, she doesn't mind what others think of her. In the Overlord's Harem, Keyda is usually found in the Overlord's Garden, she tends to Flora when Balta isn't around and occasionally she's found in the nursery. Apparently Keyda's shares a similar biology to Sabrina, however instead of creating a medical elixir out her breastmilk, Keyda's is apparently contains a mixture of lethal poisons and bacteria, only those of Rotwalker bloodline are unaffected. It appears the chemists in of the Overlord's Castle request Keyda's breastmilk for frequent tests and mass-producing weapons. Keyda is uncertain about her feelings for betraying their master, but if Naru and Sabrina believe in the visions of Vivillon, then Keyda feels she should trust them. Presently, Keyda is on standby awaiting to assist Hayato when he needs her. Although Keyda doesn't like the thought of being used as a terror weapon, she is quiet interested in the Materan world and wants to sight see.
