Finding their way to a cabin in the forested mountains of the Eastern United States the two are surprised to find the place covered in dust and spider webs. It seemed like no one had lived in the house for ages, though given the remoteness of the house Shawn wasn't too surprised. Searching the few rooms of the house they found an old book hidden away within an old wooden cupboard. Opening it as Shawn looked around some more Minda found it was a journal belonging to the lost Nobel. While most of it covered days where she'd seen some wildlife, or been cooped up by a storm, one entry caught Minda's attention. Months before leaving her home she found the necklace from the museum had been found near a cave in the woods. Upon finding it she had also met someone named Jem. While there wasn't much about where this 'Jem' came from, her and the lost Noble became fast friends. Reading the final entry as Shawn led her toward the bedroom Minda learned that it had been the lost Noble's choice to leave. She wanted to help people given what 'magic' her new necklace had. Minda wondered if Hugo might know about such a necklace, but the last words written was addressed to the reader. Whoever found the journal was welcome to make the house their own. The deed was hidden in the house, with a riddle giving its location. While not easy to solve, Minda was pretty sure she knew where the riddle led in the house.

And with this we come to the final choice. Do Minda and Shawn find the deed and decide to live in the house, or do they put the book back and leave the deed for someone else to find as they return home? Whichever one gets the most votes will be where this 'What if' ends. Hopefully everyone has a wonderful Halloween. Might play Phasmophobia solo later given Wednesday's plans with my brother fell through into Back 4 Blood.
