This rough map is just meant to help me visualize the first big city to appear in the setting of my story, "Murder on the Saurian Express", the first chapter of which I've posted here on Deviantart already. There are a lot of details I didn't feel confident adding just yet, but as far as first attempts go I think I've conveyed this pretty well. deLacy's Doorway is a city that started out as a frontier town - organized plots of land, wide streets, and a long Main Street leading to the railway line into the Delve's frontier so that expansion has plenty of room. As the years go by, however, and more communities arrive, the neat and orderly lines are at least partially abandoned. These neighborhoods are more "guidelines" than actual borders, but the influence of their inhabitants is obvious to tourists.

Enjoy the lore - hopefully I'll finish the railway mystery and eventually get to this part of the story.
