Description
|!| 'Snakebit' is a little book series of my own that I felt like making since I love writing. All of the characters in this "book" are reflected off of the Cursed AU as this is the dark and deep history of them before the curse even existed. In this series we follow Piconjo of whose life is full of bad luck and chaos just for the sake of proving his strength so that he can no longer be judged nor bullied for being considered weak and soft by his classmates or parents. |!|CHAPTER 5: Old Admirer
-------------------------
It’s been a year now since Pico and Boyfriend have been dating, their relationship and bond together growing stronger and stronger each day. Pico was now 17 years old, Boyfriend, his parents, and Nene all being there for his party. Pico never usually threw parties since his parents stopped throwing them once he turned 10. It was all a surprise at first since he attempted to keep his birth date secret, but Boyfriend wanted to make him feel special, so he told his parents about it, stealing Pico’s phone to contact Nene.
It was not too long until it was then Boyfriend’s birthday, his technically being right after Pico’s. Sadly around this time, his parents were planning to head back to Nottingham as again, they were only here to visit for a while. Pico felt heartbroken by the news as he didn’t know if he was going to ever see Boyfriend again. He would end up trying to talk with Boyfriend to see if he could convince his parents to let him say behind with him. Boyfriend wasn’t sure since he said that his parents thought that he was still too young and vulnerable to stay here by himself. Pico took this offendedly, assuming that his parents didn’t trust him to protect Boyfriend with his life. Pico was devastated, and went up to Boyfriend’s parents to try and convince them himself. They would only say that Pico was of course going to come too, but Pico didn’t want to leave. He wanted to stay around these parts as this is where he grew up…made a few friends that he decently likes…enemies to pick fights with if he was stressed.
Audrey saw the desperation of keeping Boyfriend by his side in the way he sounded and in his eyes. She then sighed, allowing Boyfriend to stay back with Pico. She even offered to keep paying the house bills and stuff while they were away from them. Pico then bounced in happiness, hugging Audrey as huge thanks. Pico then went to tell Boyfriend the news, scooping him up in his arms excitedly. Boyfriend seemed to be happy about it too but was also worried about how they were going to handle and take care of the house themselves. Pico only suggested that they’d help care for it as a team like a married couple would.
It was now the next day, the house still looking as nice as it was after Boyfriend’s parents have left. Pico would make sure to wake up way earlier than Boyfriend to make sure the house looked neat before he awoke so that he wouldn’t have to do so much to help around. Pico kind of liked how quiet the place has gotten over the few hours, but he wasn’t sure how he’d keep up the entertainment of satisfying his boyfriend. In order to keep things in stock, Pico stuck to stealing and robbery, sometimes even leaving without Boyfriend knowing so that he wouldn’t get him in trouble or caught.
It was around an hour or more since Pico had been gone, him finally returning back home. Boyfriend was sitting on a stool, his elbows resting on the countertop as he looked through his phone boredly. Once he heard Pico enter the house, he turned his attention toward him.
“Hi, Pico! Where have you been?” Boyfriend questioned happily as he was glad Pico was home.
“I was just uh- gettin’ stuff that could maybe help us out a bit easier.”
“Well I’m glad you’re home now. I was starting to worry about you.”
“Heh, don’t worry. I’ve gotten used to where things are around here now.” Pico said.
“Well that’s good! Let’s just hope that whatever bad you probably did didn’t follow you home.”
“The only thing that came back home is the one who did the bad.” Pico chuckled.
Pico set the heavy load of bags down on the floor next to the counter. He then stretched his body out of discomfort, walking up behind Boyfriend and hugging him. He rested his head on his shoulder as he looked into Boyfriend’s phone, curious about what he was looking at. He saw a tall girl that had long but curly reddish brown hair. He wasn’t too concerned about it since he didn’t see any other photos of her that he could possibly be looking at.
“Who’s that girl you’re lookin’ at?” Pico asked.
“Oh her? She’s one of my parent’s friend’s daughters! She named herself Girlfriend because she was obsessed with me back when I lived over in the United Kingdom.”
“Was she also British like you?”
“No, she was just a traveler from somewhere else. She sounds more American than anything.”
“Mm.” Pico mumbled.
“What? Is something wrong?” Boyfriend asked, glancing over at Pico’s face.
“No. Just thinkin’.” Pico replied, hugging Boyfriend closer to him as he stared at the photo.
Boyfriend softly smiled, rubbing his head against Pico’s face.
“Don’t worry…I won’t leave you for her- She doesn’t even live around here.”
Pico only made small whining sounds, Boyfriend giggling at them as he adored that behavior from Pico. Ever since they’ve gotten closer to each other, Pico was starting to show all of his hidden personalities more often. Boyfriend never questioned it as he liked it when Pico acted all kind and soft. He knew Pico didn’t mean to act like that, but he couldn’t help himself but allow it and let Pico feel comfortable presenting his actions like that. From time to time it would switch up, usually that side of him only appearing when he felt the need to be comforted or if he was trying to show affection. All of that was a whole different story from when they first lost their virginity to each other.
Pico liked to play rough while Boyfriend, not so much. Boyfriend’s body was more sensitive than Pico’s used to be. One wrong rough thrust and it would leave Boyfriend in tears. Pico was the more dominant one, Boyfriend not really fighting for the top spot anyways as he liked being the bottom boy. He would try not to hurt him, but it felt almost impossible the first time they did it. The second attempt was much more pleasurable as Boyfriend’s body had adapted to Pico’s large size. Their sexy time would usually happen around sundown as the mood felt more settling as the sky began to turn a beautiful orange-ish color…
Pico shook his head, getting out of his mind. He let go of Boyfriend, backing up a little.
“Hey…Do ya wanna head out and try to find somethin’ to do with me?” Pico asked, standing by the front door.
“Sure!- Maybe we can even go find some cute clothes for the two of us to match with…without stealing of course.” Boyfriend replied, going over to put his shoes on.
“Alright alright- Sounds like a plan!” Pico smiled.
Boyfriend grabbed a small purse-like bag and set his phone, house keys, and wallet in it, heading over to join Pico of who was waiting. Boyfriend then opened the door, allowing Pico to head out first so that he could lock the door behind them. Boyfriend would then lead Pico to the market street where there was music, playful children, food, and many unique stores. Pico’s face was full of shock as he never even knew this place existed. He looked around furiously at the unique styles and variations of the store’s material. Boyfriend laughed at Pico quietly, seeing the excitement in his eyes.
“Now remember- No stealing or killing people here! If you want something then you can let ME know and I’ll get it for you. My parents left us a ton of money plus all the money you stole so feel free to get whatever.” Boyfriend said, staring Pico in the eyes to make sure he understood. “Got it, babe?”
“Mhm.” Pico nodded.
“Good boy~” Boyfriend teased, raising himself a little higher to give Pico a kiss on the cheek.
Pico blushed, glancing at the ground and back to Boyfriend.
“Can ya come with me while I go look?” Pico asked.
“Sure!”
Pico then took Boyfriend’s hand, walking down the street as he looked around at all the stores. Boyfriend then started to jump and point at a specific clothing store that he remembered once going to and loved. Pico only followed, watching as Boyfriend looked through all the clothes quickly, pulling out one just like his.
“This is where we bought my favorite shirt!” Boyfriend said, looking at the next rack as he noticed another one but more cropped that had a hood on the back of it with long sleeves. He grabbed that one too, putting it on his chest.
Pico looked at him with raised brows, trying to imagine what that girly crop would’ve looked like on him.
“Do you think it’d look good on me? I feel this would be something a femboy would wear.”
“I think it’d look sexy on you since it’d show your stomach a bit.” Pico smirked, looking up and down at Boyfriend.
“Maybe I should try it on?- Oh! Maybe there’s one similar to yours here too that’s like this.”
“Well if there is then that’d just be-” Pico stopped, watching as Boyfriend dug into the clothes, managing to find one very similar to his current hood.
“Found one!” Boyfriend said, raising it up to Pico.
“Oh- I don’t think I’ll probably wear it anytime soon-”
“Why not?”
“I don’t feel too comfortable showing my body to complete strangers.” Pico said with a little discomfort.
“Oh, well that’s okay. I’ll just get the one that looks like my white shirt then- Or wait! I’ll just wear the one that looks similar to yours!” Boyfriend exclaimed, holding both of the cropped hoodies on his arm. “I’ll still get the other one too since I like it.”
Pico chuckled, ruffling up Boyfriend’s hair playfully.
“I’ll maybe look for some pants or shorts to match with it since I don’t think my dark blue jeans will look good.”
Pico only quietly laughed as he watched Boyfriend walk around the store, taking looks at different clothing with complete interest. Pico would only stand there as he waited for Boyfriend to finish. He watched as he then took the clothes up to the worker and paid for them, having the items be put into a bag. Boyfriend then walked over to Pico, smiling happily.
“Ok, we can go now!”
Pico then lead the way, starting to feel a bit hungry. He’d search for a possible food place until some random girl on the phone bumped into them.
“Oh- Sorry!-” She’d say, continuing to walk away until she paused in her tracks. She turned back around, gasping in disbelief. “Hold on, I’ll call you back.” She said to the person she was on a call with, hanging up shortly after.
Boyfriend had a slightly nervous look on his face as he glanced at her and then at Pico. Pico would only look at Boyfriend with confusion, turning towards the girl as she walked back to them.
“Hii Boyfriend! I didn’t expect you to be here!” She’d say as she walked over and grabbed Boyfriend by his cheeks, moving his head side to side playfully. She’d then let go, looking over to Pico.
“Who are you?” She asked.
“...I’m Pico. Who may I ask are you if ya think you can just randomly come up to us like that-” Pico questioned, sounding a little aggressive.
“Well you don’t have to sound so mean- but I’m Girlfriend!”
Pico only looked at Boyfriend with a straight face, wanting him to do something about her. Boyfriend would slowly turn his head back to Girlfriend, looking a bit nervous.
“Well um, what brings you here? I thought you were still over in the UK.” Boyfriend said.
“I heard that you and your family traveled here so I decided to come along with you guys. I stuck around a bit longer since your parents also said they left you here with your very protective friend.” Girlfriend responded.
“Well uh…about that.” Boyfriend would slightly hide his face. “He’s my uh, boyfriend now…”
Girlfriend would only stare at Boyfriend as if she was trying to process thoroughly about what he said.
“I’m sorry, but he’s your what?- Did I hear you correctly?-”
“Boyfriend he said, now would ya mind scatterin’ off?” Pico interrupted.
“Oh but Boyfriend! I thought you liked me!-” Girlfriend cried.
“I did…but I love Pico now- sorry…” Boyfriend said quietly.
“I can’t even believe I’m hearing this outta you!- Do your parents even know that you’re dating this freak?”
“FREAK?” Pico shouted angrily, turning to look right at Girlfriend with a face of hatred and offense.
Boyfriend put a hand on Pico’s shoulder, wanting him to calm down and let him handle it.
“No. They don’t know and I would like to keep it that way for now.” Boyfriend said sternly.
“Oh but I could always tell them! I have your mom’s number in my contacts. I don’t think your father would like to know that you’re gay either.” Girlfriend said, sounding upset.
“So what if he gets mad?- Let him! He can’t change the way I wish to love someone.”
“Don’t tell me you gave this guy literally your all-”
“I did-”
“Even your virginity?”
“Well why the fuck does that matter?”
“Because I wanted it for myself- now is it a yes or no?”
“Yes, YES!- Now please just go away- I don’t even like you anymore!” Boyfriend pleaded.
“Don’t try and fend me off now- I want to try to work things out!” Girlfriend stated.
“I don’t care for what you have to say-”
“Oh you’re gonna care.”
“It is best you leave before I let Pico do something I would hate to do to a woman.”
“What’s this ginger idiot gonna do huh?” Girlfriend would say challengingly as she got all up into Pico’s face, smacking the back of her hand against Pico’s chest.
Pico only clenched his hands together tightly, staring Girlfriend in the eyes with his murderous ones. He tried to resist the urge to even hurt her since he knew Boyfriend wouldn’t appreciate it.
“What’s wrong? You look all tensed up like you want to kill me.” She said charmingly.
“Well maybe that’s because I do.”
“Go on then, do it-”
Pico would pull out his gun in an instant, pushing it against Girlfriend’s head as he set his finger on the trigger. Pedestrians only watched in terror, some speed walking away while younger ones recorded.
“Pico…Don’t you do it-” Boyfriend warned him. “Everyone is watching you and I don’t want you to get in trouble-”
Boyfriend was right. He hadn’t had a hood to cover up his face, so shooting her with everyone watching would get him caught in an instant. Pico closed his eyes for a moment, looking down at the ground with a frustrated face. He growled, aiming the gun back on the ground. He reopened his eyes lifting his head up, still giving Girlfriend an angered expression.
“Aw, that’s cute. He actually listens to you like a dog!” Girlfriend said.
“He is not a dog. I just don’t want YOU to be the reason he ends up in prison.”
“Hmph.” Girlfriend puffed.
“I’ll be on my way now then. I’ll find a way to get you to ditch that loser and be with me.” She would start to walk away. “Oh, and I’m also telling your parents that you’re gay!” She would shout to where everyone nearby could hear.
Boyfriend would blush embarrassingly as he would get a ton of awkward stares at him. Pico would notice the stares people gave Boyfriend. He would give most of them an unfriendly face as he held Boyfriend’s hand, firing his gun right next to them as a warning shot. They all then panicked, scattering all over the place. Pico sighed, relaxing his face as he turned down to Boyfriend.
“Maybe let’s go somewhere a bit calmer?” Pico suggested.
Boyfriend nodded, softly smiling as he lead them away from the market street and out to a nature park. There were a lot of birds around, sometimes even deer. Boyfriend picked a bench near the large water fountain to rest on, setting the bag he was holding down under the seat. He then threw himself down onto the bench, groaning. Pico sat next to him, admiring the way the water flowed out of the fountain. He glanced over to Boyfriend of whose eyes looked tired and stressed. He set his hand on Boyfriend’s lap, looking at him with calm eyes.
“Ya doin’ alright in there?” Pico asked softly.
“Yeah. Just thinking.”
“About what?”
“About what Girlfriend might do to me now.”
“Why worry about what she’ll do? I’ll be here to protect you-”
“No Pico, you don’t understand how powerful she is!-” Boyfriend then leaned closer to Pico’s ear and whispered, “Her parents are literal demons- She could be one of them too…” He then backed up again.
“Well no wonder she wasn’t scared to die.” Pico shrugged. “I guess the only pain she’ll get to feel is rejection.”
“I guess that’s true.” Boyfriend said, feeling a little at ease.
“Do ya think she’ll actually come back though?” Pico asked.
“She might. We just have to hope she won’t know where we live-”
“She literally has ya parent’s number Boyfriend-” Pico sighed.
Boyfriend looked at the ground with worry in his eyes. Pico looked at him with sorrowful eyes until he could hear a sniffle come from him. He watched as a very small tear dropped from Boyfriend’s face.
“What’s wrong, babe?...” Pico asked softly, rubbing Boyfriend’s arm gently.
“Oh Pico….I don’t want to leave you- What if she mind controls me to make me hate you?!” Boyfriend whined.
“Well if she does then I’ll know that you don’t mean the hate.” Pico then scooted far closer to Boyfriend, hugging him sideways. “No matter what happens, I’ll always still love you.”
Boyfriend slightly smiled, leaning into Pico’s hug. Pico kissed Boyfriend softly on the forehead. He’d then stand up, offering his hand to Boyfriend.
“I think we should head home now. Ya look a bit tired with your eyes lookin’ like that.”
“Okay…” Boyfriend took Pico’s hand, standing up next to him.
Pico would crouch down to pick up Boyfriend’s bag, taking it with him so that Boyfriend wouldn’t have to hold it. About halfway on their walk back, Pico would notice Boyfriend’s lack of speed. Pico offered to carry him, setting the bag to rest on his shoulder. Boyfriend then reached his arms up at Pico like a baby would do when they wanted to be held. Pico found it adorable and scooped him right up, carrying him the rest of the way. Once they made it back home, Pico would try to take the house keys from Boyfriend’s pocket without dropping him since he had passed out. He managed to do it swiftly, opening the door and shutting it behind him, making sure to lock it. He would carefully lay Boyfriend down on the couch, heading upstairs to go fix up his bed for him. He’d come back downstairs, taking both of their shoes off and then eventually carrying him upstairs to set him in bed.
After tucking Boyfriend into bed, Pico would shut the bedroom door, sitting right up against it as he kept watch over Boyfriend. He didn’t want to fall asleep just in case if Girlfriend were to try and take him from him while they both slept.
Hours passed and passed until Pico’s eyes were finally trying to close. Pico did everything to keep himself awake, not wishing to sleep one bit. He constantly blinked, sometimes even splashing cold water onto himself, but it hardly worked anymore. Pico blinked one last and final time until his whole body gave out, passing out.
Just as quick as it was to fall asleep, he woke up, panicking a little. The room was bright, him realizing that it was morning. He looked over to Boyfriend’s bed, relieved to see that he was still there by his blue hair appearing from overhead. It wasn’t until he stood up to go check on him, realizing that he had been fooled. He pulled the covers off only to find a large white husky that wore a wig that looked almost exactly like Boyfriend’s hair. Pico stared at the dog confusingly as it then woke up, looking at him.
“...what the fuck…?” Pico mumbled to himself as he inspected the dog, trying to see if it was even him.
It was not as this dog was a female, not a male. Pico took the wig off of the dog, finding a little letter underneath it. He sped read it, only to find that it was signed by Girlfriend. Pico crumbled the paper with one hand, angrily growling to himself. He tried to figure out how she could’ve gotten in since the door hadn’t seemed to be opened since he was sleeping right against it. The window wasn’t accessible either since you could not open it fully unlike the one he had in his room. Pico started to hit his own face until the dog started to whine, looking at Pico with its ears perked. Pico stopped, looking at the dog with angry eyes. The more he stared, the more relaxed he felt. Pico put his hands down, sighing to himself. He closed his eyes, facing his head towards the ground as he slowly reached his hand up to pet the dog softly. The dog then wagged its tail, standing up nice and tall.
Pico looked back up, opening his eyes. He pulled out his phone, checking to see if Boyfriend had left his phone here. He called it, listening for the ring tone until someone ended up picking up the phone.
“Well hello, Pico~” The familiar feminine voice said.
“What’d you do to Boyfriend ya demon.”
“What do you mean? I did nothing to him-”
“Then why the fuck do ya got his phone then, huh?” Pico paused. “And why is there a fuckin’ DOG in his bed now-”
“Well since I wanted Boyfriend, I gave you a dog to remind you of him while I kept the original.”
“Girl, that ain’t even how this works.” Pico groaned.
“I don’t care- Also feel free to name the dog whatever- she was a puppy but I grew her up a little bit for you, so she’s all fresh.”
“Even though you may have Boyfriend kidnapped or somethin’- just know that he will NEVER love someone like you. If you can’t even learn how to accept a simple rejection without going all psycho, then I don’t even know how you’ll even be the good girlfriend like you think you can be.” Pico then sighed into the phone, putting his hands on his head. “Now I see why Boyfriend turned gay. It’s all because of weirdo ass psycho girls just like you.”
Pico then hung up, tossing the phone onto the bed. He knew that all of his words sunk into Girlfriend’s mind as she would end up going silent after a few of them. Pico then threw himself onto the bed on his back, staring at the ceiling with drowsy eyes. Just as he was about to close them, the doorbell rang. His eyes shot open as the dog would jump out of the bed, run downstairs and bark at the door. Pico groaned as he got up, heading downstairs. He softly pushed the dog’s face away, using his leg to keep her from running out. Pico then opened the door, his pupils shrinking as he found Boyfriend all tied up with a cloth on his eyes, sitting there as if he was dead.
Pico quickly took him inside before reading what the note said on his face. The dog started to get all hyper, running around the two as she would also sometimes jump onto them. Pico shoo’d the dog away, telling her to go. He then turned back to Boyfriend’s face, reading what the note said.
‘Maybe you were right. I guess forcing someone to love you doesn’t give the same feeling as finding true love. So here, just take him back since I can’t bare to see how much of an awful girlfriend I am being.. -Sincerely, Girlfriend’
