Is sadako really have a dick in the original series? I'm curious to know that 
The Ring Virus Korean version was also released in 1999, Kim Dong-bin director also took the first novel on canvas, but he also took over some of Nakata's work (eg a protagonist here). Sadako was Eun-Suh, an illegal and hermaphrodite daughter of a medium. The medium is tenderly tied to its half brother, and when it becomes clear, she uses her psychic ability to infect society with video cassettes.

Not in the movies, in the Japanese movies Sadako isn't a hermaprodithe.
But in the book she is, and the Korean version ("The Ring Virus")
is also closer to the book, which is why Park is a hermaprodithe.
I've actually never seen the Korean version, but it does sound good though.
