Random tower thing found while exploring around the canal. It sits above drainage pipes that appear to lead between the nearby pond and the canal, but holds no equipment or mechanical devices.Related content

Get an aerial from Google Earth and trace its path. It could be an old railroad bridge support from the 1800's, or it could be some kind of oil drilling equipment. Swampy areas were prime for tapping oil. i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/i…
