The Tree of Lasu'ai is presumably a tree that has been blessed by the Goddess of Magic, Lasu'ai, after falling in love with the vista behind the tree. The purple flame heals the tree, while the red flame constantly destroys the tree. Nobody knows what will happen when one of the flames take over the leaves of the tree, but what people do know is that it may cause calamity.
