Pendulum Lore: When this card is activated: You can add 1 Insect Tuner, Gemini, or Pendulum Monster from your Deck to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Patient Zero" - Spinnelli" once per turn. While you control an Insect monster in your Extra Monster Zone or in your other Pendulum Zone, all Special Summoned monsters on the field become Insect monsters, also they lose 500 ATK/DEF if they are not originally Insect-Type.

Lore: (Page 332) We've finally managed to isolate the malignant gene that's been destroying humanity for years now; apparently this Black Plague came from wolf spiders instead of rats. Most of my colleagues have succumbed to the virus, so we'll test this cure on Patient Zero first. Perhaps through her, our antidote may give us all a light at the end of this tunnel.
