Description
This'll be the last piece from my old desk. New desk l-shaped aluminum and glass beauty is already built and set up. Tomorrow we start trying to figure out how to tear down this steel, insurance agency (I shit you not, there's an emblem and everything) monstrosity down into pieces small enough to get out of my office.Fun BA piece this week from some guys that I've been watching for about a year. Love Tim's lines and Joseph's inks.

I'd only ever done the one, the little pinup with Colossus, but I've been following the pairing of Joe and Tim particularly for a while. Needless to say, I was very happy when these lines were picked since the others were more sketchy.

Loving the purple. Very different.

Thanks. There's a particular color range that I've grown to like between purple and blue that seems to show up different on just about every monitor it runs on.

I know what you mean. I like to use light subtler shades of purple and blue in my work for shadows. It always has a nice ambient effect

Thanks, love yours as well. As mentioned above, I've been pretty behind in making the rounds this week. I totally need Omaha/Council Bluffs restaurant suggestions. Hoping to take my wife out on an actual date when we visit her folks.

Depends on the type of food you're after and which part of Omaha/Council Bluffs you're going to be in. I'd say take her down to the Old Market in Omaha. They have plenty of fine dining down there.

Thanks a bunch. I'm way behind on my commenting but I've been loving the pirate series you've been posting. Part of a project?

Β Β Always neat to see someone render Naruto this well.Β I'm also looking to see how he looks when artists attempt to do him in their own style, instead of aping that used by his creator Masashi Kishimoto.

Yeah, I really thought about cell shading (like the show) or soft grading (like the video game) this one, but ultimately chose to go with this kind of half-ass style I seem to be putting together for myself.

Thanks a lot. Big compliment, because I've definitely seen some good ones scanning through. I generally avoid looking too closely until the round is posted for judging, though.

Thanks, man. I was a balancing act this round. The new desk still isn't quite in place, so I'm glad I got it done when I did.
