Well, ever heard about crusaders? Same shit, different religion. There have always been fanatics, but i was talking about the rest of the normal society. Don't tell me you've never met someone who fears god. Hell, mexicans fear god so much, the name their childre "Jesus"

Crusaders or the Crusades... The Crusades was a religous based war which is kinda what im talking about. It was basically a holy war to regain Jerusalem from the muslims and was pretty much sanctioned by the pope.. I can say that I have indeed seen somebody fear god.. I've also seen people fear god so much that they kill in the name of god.. Ever heard of Jefferey Lundgren? I am afraid that what you and I call normal is becoming more of a minority.. We just don't see it due to where we live.. The world is a much different place outside of North America. Oh and the "jesus" joke is pretty freakin hilarious..

Well, to me, normal is the way the majority thinks as in - in the medieval age it was normal to think the earth is flat. And as history proves us - normal doesn't always mean "good". I agree with what you said about the crusades, i quite fond of the subject. However, modern jihad is a war to take economic power away from the americans - just like the nazis slaughtered the jews because they were running the world's economy. In my opinion, it's all abut the money. Religion is just a tool used to get money and eventually control the masses...or at least that's what i think...

Those thick red lines upon his scarf depict how you will be laid out after the axe is brought across the exposed neck

Brainwashing commences. Stupidity is increase by tenfold. The sheep beg and whine to things that don't exist.

technically the painting is great, the smoke is especially fantastic.
religion does mess up allot of things and it surprising how its still alive. there was a point in time when we needed it to bring order, but it seemed like we should be able to be civil enough without it... in short terms i see this painting having an anti-escapist meaning. our minds would be free without religion. i know that firsthand.

That's mostly excellent! I adore the smoke and that thing he's holding (wish I knew the english word). Nice colors and great symboly. I really like the concept, and the rather rough painting style.
My interpretation is that Christianity is just rotten; A religion full of contrasts and failures, yet this religion has so much succes, still. It's just one hypocritical mess.
