There was no plumbing Sweet Celestia. No electricity, either.
It was like living in one of those neglected homes in SimCity where you'd live without energy or water for days.
It's a good thing we learned much from that game Like how we built a city with nothing but highways.
EVEN THE RESIDENTIAL AREAS GOT HIGHWAYS Aside from many accidents our road maitenance was surprisingly cheap!
Imagine pulling out of the driveway only to be met with F-Zero racers streaming behind you IT WAS GLORIOUS CHAOS!

Ya think they would have thought that since she previously lived in a LIBRARY, that she would want...I don't know...a LIBRARY...unless the castle already had one. Then there's room for another library or five...dozen.

Rainbow Dash said she put Daring Do posters in Twilight's castle LIBRARY. The same library that was seen in Rainbow Rocks where she keeps her magic portal to the human world and is already filled with books.
It's funny how everyone insists that this episode should've ended with Twilight's friends getting her more of what she already has.

I haven't seen Rainbow Rocks yet (its on my to-do list though) so I didn't know anything about her shiny new castle since S4 ended. Most of my comment though was heavy in sarcasm though (or at least that's what I intended anyway)

Some fans don't consider EQG canon, or even watch the movies at all. So those fans wouldn't know she already had a Library in the castle.

Then they should've paid more attention to Rainbow Dash's "I put Daring Do posters in your library" line. Or maybe the scene of showing Twilight's rooms should've come first so people could register it.

True, but that doesn't come until the end. So for someone watching the episode for the first time the information might not always click in the right order. That is to say it still can seem confusing to watch ReMane-Five discussing Twilight's love of books some how turn into digging up a tree, since the revelation the castle already has a library doesn't come until later, and is mentioned in more of an off hand fashion.
Besides, it's perfectly plausible for the castle to have a library, without that room having yet been stocked with books. In fact that would seem to have been the original case as is when the castle was first created, since in Rainbow Rocks we see Twilight doing going about the process of stocking it.
