Description
As Jeena got dressed behind her room divider, Madalyn walked in the room to go behind hers.
“I can’t believe mom SHOUTED that Normally she would just say, ‘I’ll ask you when you get out’,” said Madalyn.
“Well, you know mom- always finding a way to plummet our popularity without even realizing it,” said Jeena.
Just then, Jeena and Madalyn’s older step brother, Marc- (no, he, his dad, and his little brother (age 8) aren’t evil. That only happens in bad rewrites of things- although the little brother is 100% pest) -who was 14, I might add- popped his head in the doorway.
“Hey have you guys seen my soccer ball? I have practice right after school so I won’t have time to run home.” he said.
“Oh, sure,” said Jeena. “I think it’s in the-“
but, she got interrupted, because her room divider fell forward- revealing Jeena in her bra and underwear to Marc and her little step brother who was walking by.
“HOLY SHIT!!!” she screamed picking up her room divider.
“Marc, what was that thing she was wearing besides her underwear?” asked the little step brother, Josh.
Giggling, Marc told him about what a bra was to his little brother. Then he started giggling.
“It’s NOT funny!!!” Grumbled Jeena, flipping them off behind her room divider.

As Jeena left for the bus stop, some 8th grade boys were making fun of her.
“So, DO you have clean underwear?” asked one of them, badly impersonating Jeena’s mom.
“That was the best you could come up with?” Asked Jeena, trying to act like it wasn’t bothering her one little bit.
“Well, you must be related to a spider, because you have four eyes!” said a real mean 8th grade boy named Marco, making fun of her glasses- which, I wouldn’t see why, because she had a really good style of glasses with a really cool color. And that was extra stupid because, well, spiders have 8 eyes.
“Well, you must be related to a donkey, because you’re an ass!” said Jeena. ‘Where the hell did THAT come from?’ Jeena thought. ‘Who cares, at least I said it!’
“... well, you must be related to a spider because you have four eyes!” said Marco, trying that comeback one last time.
“Hey Jeena, you’re little brother must be gay for SURE now!” said another mean 8th grade boy, Elliot. ‘Oh, f*ck!!! my window must of been open when my room divider fell down!’ thought Jeena. She turned away so no one would see her blushing face and tears rolling down her cheeks. Humiliation domination- complete.
Just then, she heard someone shout at the boys.
“You should be ashamed! It’s her first day of middle school and you’ve just ruined it! This day for a new 6th grader is supposed to be fun and exciting! So I hope this year you’re the biggest nerds in the school!” she shouted.
As Jeena still cried and the boys talked amongst themselves, she felt a tap on her shoulder. she turned around to see a nice 7th grade girl- the one that just stood up for her- looking at her. She had a cute, round face and a slim body. “Are you ok, Jeena?” she asked sweetly.
“Yeah, I’m fine,” said Jeena, wiping her face with her hands.
“My name’s Megan.” se said extending her hand. Jeena shook Megan’s hand.
“So, which lunch do you have?” asked Megan.
“First lunch period. Do you?”
“yeah! Wanna sit with me and some of my friends today?” Asked Megan.
“That sounds great!” said Jeena as the bus came up.
‘I guess today won’t be that bad after all!’ thought Jeena as she sat in a seat.
