Scene 1: Coming Home
Macy trudged home from school, dragging her feet. She had so much homework for one night- don't teachers know we have homework in other classes, too? Not to mention her little sister, Lana, would be bugging her while she attempting her math problems. 'Well, mom can probably take care of Lana- no luck handling her kidz bop obsession,' she thought as she walked through the door.
"Mom, I'm home " Macy called as she dropped her backpack with a loud thud.
"Mom?"
When Macy opened the fridge to get an after school snack, she noticed a note on the table. It said:
Macy & Lana-
Have to help your dad at the office. Will
Be home @ 4:30-5ish.
