Scene 2- Goofing Off

Macy's jaw dropped and she slammed the note on the table. Luckily, Lana didn't come home for another half hour, so she made the most of her time before doing her homework. She ate her snack, watched her favorite show, and went online. When she was finished, she went up to her room to start her homework.
Not one minute after Macy opened her math book, though, she heard the front door open and close, feet coming up the stairs, and Lana went into her room. Macy put her head in her hands and let out a frustrated groan as she heard Lana's kidz bop version of California girls.
This was going to be a long two hours.
