Hope those dA Help Desk people help you fix it up soon!
And yeah, I thought you were talking about my school band. I actually have another band out of school (Which I think you were talking about. ) It's called Queens and Jacks. We're not very "bandish" like yet, but we're getting to it! I'm actually the pianist ( Which I am rarely used.
) and the logo, CD, etc designer. (Seeing as I am the only creative person in the field of arts in the band
) Yeah. So it's getting there and its been prettyy awesome!
And yes, you're right, I don't fancy much metal. But I don't mind good rock. I think thats it's almost similar to metal. Or something. I prefer much alternative and jazz. And for some strange reason, I'm now into 40s to 60s music. But especially 40s music. It's kinda close to jazz but funkier. And yes, it would suck if your fave band's concert got cancelled. I know I would start crying. :tear: Hehe!
Btw, have you heard of The Cat Empire? I love them! Hehe.

Me too...
Ya, I meant your non-schoolband...you mentioned that band to my once before. I know how to remedy the lack of keyboard usage...write most of the songs and include yourself as much as possible...that's what most keyboard players I've known do....including my 1st boyfriend who was the keyboardist in the ska band called the Allniters, waaay before your time hun....anyways he wrote and co-wrote most of the songs and you always noticed the keyboards in each and every song....handy tip there...hehe...
Some rock has it's metal moments it's true, especially these days, the boundaries are blurred, it's not so cut and dry genre wise. Metal and rock are my fav genres, but I have eclectic tastes, so you will find anything from Miles Davis, Mozart to Ministry in my collection. I love 60s music too, especially blues and old style R&B. My own father was a blues and R&B musician in the 60s....he wasn't bad either...hehe. Do you like 40s bebop jazz?...that stuff is so cool....
Yup, I've heard of The Cat Empire, not a fan myself but not bad in any case...they are playing the Enmore Theatre in Nov, tickets on sale now in case ya didn't know...

Hunny your corset work is to die for....wooooow...and I love the photos of you and your VERY TALL man...hehe. You said you are 167cm which is a lot taller than me...I'm 5 foot 1...dunno cm...so he must be well over 6 foot...
I love satin and lace corsets....I have two satin corsets...one black and one red...(I'm wearing the black one in the "Attitude" pic actually) I have a black pvc corset...and I sold another pvc one recently 'coz it was 20" and I'm never gunna be that skinny again I was like a size 6 when I bought that one. I think I must be a 26-28" at the moment...I hope to get back down to a 24" 'coz that's what the red one is and I miss wearing it...ho-hum.
Thanks for the email address...I'll send you some pics real soon...

Size 6???????
What the....?
Well... honestly... he;s not that big...He has 185cm or so... I am fine with that.. but what shocked me is... size 6...girl...if I was fitting into size 8 I would think I am too thin... I decided to get back into smaller female sizes..not elephant ones... I still think I can;t reach 8... probably 10would be just fine... dunno.
i collect corsets... i am sure I have over 20 already... very various kinds but not those really ortodox ones... these are too expensive... i mostly buy them at secondhands but it includes hours of walking around prague and peeking if there is something
Usual price i put into one corset is 6$ which is ok I think.. when I see fairy goth mother stuff I am about to die...
i just want to make some corset like that by myself...

Don't worry I'm not a size 6 anymore...that was when I was a lot younger and suffering from an eating disorder 'coz the beauty industry told me that short curvy girls like me are FAT!!...doing make-up for tall skinny models didn't help...well I've learnt now that it's not true and the beauty industry can go fuck themselves...*reaches for more chocolate cake*
I would sooooo love to see your corset collection...I'd also love to go vintage shopping in Prague...how fabulous...$6 dollars you say...far out...that's awesome. My cheapest corset cost AUD$200.00...but they are poper boned corsets imported from British corsetry companies like Axfords and Volleys. I do have some old 50s and 60s style lingerie corsets I picked up second hand too...really full on with straps and gussets and they are full body some of them...feels like a straight jacket when you wear them...hehe...

Wow thanks for those cool sites they are really cool...I've bookmarked them even.
Yeah I remember struggling through uni, working p/t to pay for fees and supplies. If you can live at home whilst at uni it is easier, or there is always share accomodation, but that can suck in soooo may ways too. Another thing that you can do is a student loan. We have that in Australia, it's called HECS. You use the loan to pay the fees and you only start to pay it back once you start working and paying tax. You get taxed a higher rate and this extra tax automatically goes towards paying the loan back. The thing is, I've got friends who are still paying off their student loans well into their 30s...higher education sure doesn't come cheap!!!

well.. i have to move to another city so I would live in school apartement which is quite cheap..It would cost me 100USD with lunches per month... that;s pretty cool, but fees are killing... and I don;t count colours and other props necessary for art studies... for example 1 stupid oil colour can cost 20$..depenst on colour... some are cheap and some expensive... i was looking for school loans but they don;t work here... I was having my cell phone at loan... I payed it 10months... Then I got credit card which I can use and then I;ll be paying it back... but I don;t want to use it until it;s necessary...even if it;s tempting...i;d be rather if I could pay this year schoolfee by myself and next year get schollarship...
my bf;s mom said him they would help me if it;s necessary but I don;t want to accept it if possible... now he goes to study 2schools which would cost them 4000USD for school fees a year so then I am not willing any loans....
damn... that;s gonna be heavy

Yeah I had to have a couple of casual jobs to pay the fees and get art supplies, plus I was paying rent and all the rest...it's hard being a student. You know, law and medical degrees cost as much as a house over here...hundreds of thousands they say. So you have to choose...do I get a home or a degree?...sux huh?
Hey that was sooo nice of yer b/f's mum to offer to help out even if ya don't accept, it's the thought that counts...really sweet of her. Go easy on that credit card...they can be a real trap...I know...I've fallen for it....

Yeah i agree but this war is really in place. i don't know if you know the background of this war or not but we let the lebanon goverment their quite and they commited to keep the boarder safe and we didn't disturb them for 6 years. but between that they let the hizballa organize to war without interfare them and now they attacked us without reason...so were sick of getting terrorist bullcrap and decide to destroy the hizballa once and for all whatever the cost will be. sorry for the bad english :/
anyway i have a big big view about all this war and stuff but it's too much to write and i'm not sure i can translate it all to english :S

Hmm cheers for the "insider info", always interesting to hear info from the source. To tell you the truth I'm very confused about the whole dammed thing, it's a case for me of "which came 1st the chicken or the egg" as the English saying goes. Meaning, how did it all really start? Who knows for sure!! The media reports here (I hate the media ) have been raving about Israel being in the wrong "this time", with World governments pleading to Israel to lay down arms (very hypocritical considering we ourselves still have troops in Iraq and have no intention of dis-engaging from that fucked up situation) and are painting a biased picture of Lebanon being the victims...with emphasis on "this time" mind you. I take everything the media say "with a grain of salt" and not to be blindly accepted and believed without any doubt or reservation.
P.S. Your English is fine.

Ah it start in the first labenon war in 1982...i'm not sure who started it. but in this situation we were really fine. think about that we didn't disturb them and touched the boarder for 6 years! and what peaceful arrangements they prepared? hella lot of missles we discover everyday that each missle gets farrer into our country and into the civillized center. were taking it slow because were attacking only militry oprations and try the best we can avoid hitting civillians. ah it's fucked up..and think that i'm a soldier now who can't do anything to protect his own county. how fucked is that?
ah hypocrits...

We are all so worried about you all...and you say you are soldier now, which makes me doubly worried. Indeed, Hezbollah does need to be dealt with but as per usual it comes at a cost, but I'm glad to hear that the Israelie military is doing it's best to keep that cost down as much as possible. After all, it wasn't the Lebanese Government itself that has breached these "peaceful arrangements" you speak of, but Hezbollah, who are working independent (backed by Iran and Syria, which totally freaks out the US govt') of the Lebanese Government and against their wishes. I do understand your frustrations though and I hope a peaceful solution can be reached very soon that benefits both sides before any more lives are taken. My prayers are with you.

i afraid it's impossible. were surronded by radical islamic conutries who wont calm down untill all the jews here are in the sea without rescue boats :S and if you doubt it just read the agenda of the hammas or hizballa.
Lebanese goverment are paying the price for letting the hizballa work inside theyre country without interfeer in their afforts to achive weapons and plan plans against us. i feel bad for them but at the same time i'm upset. theyre like the kids in the class who get beat up by the bully but don't have enough courge to confront him or to tell anybody. you don't have to worry..i'm diabetic. i volunteerd for the army my profile is 30 which is the lowest profile for someone who actually serve in the army. i do mostly office works...computer stuff...and i'm frustrated for it. i'm thinking now about go to gun trains so i can do guarding. arrg it's so annoying to talk through here :S i think to move to the email..hmmm...

I like your "school bullies" analogy, it really sums it up! Lebanon is paying a big price for letting the Hezbollah work in their country indeed, I wouldn't have trusted it, especially with their attitude towards Israel...what were they thinking?!!
So you're diabetic ay! Is it hard to be on the special diet required and be kocher at the same time? I'd imagine it would be. I see now why you are frustrated that your health keeps you confined to office work rather than being able to carry out regular military duties but on the other hand it keeps you safe too....but I kinda see why that's not enough for you...sort of.

and it's kinda more complicated then the "school bully" theory. syria are controlling lebanon and that's why they didn't confront the hizabala-the hizbala are sponserd by iran and syria...ah

Well...there's a few things you can do. I suggest chocolate brown or dark charcoal grey eyshadow instead of black which is much harsher. Also choose a foundation with a bit of colour in it so as to minimalise the stark contrast of black and white, creating a more natural look. Black mascara and khol pencil for lashes and inner lid are a must though. A good trick is to buy a shadow that can be wet down and used as an eyeliner as well, it's applyed with a fine liner brush in exactly the same way as liquid eyeliner. The line is still as harsh as a liquid eyeliner but smudges and blends easlier because it is still a shadow after all. Shiseido and Chanel have eyeshadows that do this. So you apply the coloured eyeliner on the top and bottom lid creating a harsh line 1st. Then you go over that line with the same shadow in the dry form with a applicator sponge or brush, blending over the top with a smudgeing technique which creates the smokey affect.
If you can't find the eyeshadow product I just mentioned then just use a very soft khol pencil in brown or grey to do the eyeliner as this is soft enough to smudge as well. The eyeshadow over the top not only creates the blending but also sets the khol in place so it won't melt and become too messy with time.
Hope all that helps, don't hesitate to ask if any Qs.
