The last Gaia knight, entrusted as the pilot of the Strike Titan- which seeps from her Gaia Force to empower itself.

The Gaia force itself is the force of the planet's movement, siphoned from the Earth and used as energy to empower Maxie's strikes. The force it allows her to discharge is so intense that it requires specialized gauntlets, which absorb the recoil, preventing her from destroying her own body with every punch. They are far from fool-proof however, as enough recoil has broken the gauntlet's before, only worsened when Maxie succumbs to her quick temper.
