I checked your gallery, just for seeing if you were a troll or something, you havent used ANY base ever, so how come you ended up here? You searched in the abr ''bases'' for just say they suck? You're horrible, dude.

Drawing shouldn't take hours. It should only take minutes to do your basic sketches. Any sketch can take minutes, once you get used to it

Well if you practice more you'd probably speed up and have more automatic senses to what you need to make the drawing nice. The best anime/manga artists (or actually any artist) can take less than a minute to make a full body sketch. That's how the well known mangaka can do both art and story and submit their chapters weekly.

Every GOOD drawing starts off with a sketch of the basic "base" the bases I post and the bases sketched work the same way as you draw on afterwards. The point of bases is to assist those who can't exactly do the sketch-bases so they may just continue to what's after the point of the "base"

Anyone who draws over a base just colours it in with some kind of shitty clothing and generic hair. Thats my opinion anyway.

I like how you mentioned it's your opinion. I guess everybody's got their opinions, people see differently for everything I guess. Though there are *few* moments when I get to see a good base edit. I well agree sometimes base edits aren't that pleasant as original drawings but some develop some sort of "skill" for base editing.

Sadly, Nutrinc, is completely right.... Well, I'm generally speaking against bases, it's much better to teach yourself how to draw correctly from scratch.
But still, if you try making bases, then please put some effort in it, and double check if they are at least correct. I know it's anime style, but if anime follows anatomy.
