The hair was so hard to do....it took me forever just to get it done the first time.
Don't expect me to draw her for a long time.

But anyways, this is my new One Piece OC Ruby. She's a mermaid (as you can see -_-) and the doctor for the Melody Pirates.
She was originally going to have a regular fish tail, but I think the shark tail suits her better. :3

Personality wise....well, Ruby tends to be very aggressive, despite who she's being aggressive towards. She's also very serious, and can come off as being sadistic at times. She does have a softer and nicer side, but it hardly ever shows. Tyranny has been the only one to get her to show that side, which is why she respects Tyranny, and partially why she joined her crew.
Like everyone else on the ship, she hopes to achieve peace among people and, most importantly, end slavery and racism. Being a mermaid herself, she finds it disgusting that mermaids are captured and sold and kept as eye candy for the rest of their lives.
Ruby isn't fond of people and prefers to keep to herself most of the time. She normally excludes herself from the rest of the crew, except for Tyranny and Tokyo.
Normally she locks herself in her room and creates medicine and antidotes, or she swims around in the fish tank that Jack built for her. She loves the feeling of being free and swims around the ocean, when she's not locked in her room. Despite being a shark mermaid, she loves swimming around with small tropical fish and dolphins and prefers to stay away from sharks, seeing as they chase after her all the time.
Ruby is also very self-conscious when it comes to showing her happiness and smiling. Being a shark, she has razor sharp teeth that people find scary, which is mainly why she doesn't smile.

As for a crush...I've chosen Mihawk. I don't give a damn about the age difference. I just think Mihawk and Ruby compliment each other...somewhat.
