Description
I had fun designing these. They are ancient megalithic fantasy statues which perhaps once either protected a pass between the mountains, or border markers who warned travellers to turn back. I wanted them to be simple enough in shape to suggest something solid, primitive and absolute - like the Heads at Easter Island. I'm rather found of Lewis chess and Hnefatafl pieces which look like they whittled from simple shapes.

This is a very small detail (a couple of cms) - a minor feature in a larger map.
