Or when Iron-Gibbet comes out with his cartoons, you could review those? I don't know... I'm just trying to stop the inevitable, I suppose...

I just watched the review, you make a great Christine! The Phantom reviewer does good work, although I do think he lets the ALW stuff off waaaay too easy (seriously people, that musical is far from perfect, and I'm not just referring to the inconsistencies with Leroux's novel here).

I have to say, watching these reviews makes me realize just how few good phantom-movies have been made. In fact, the only really good one is still the Chaney version. I guess the story just got way too watered down over time. Oh well, hope springs eternal. And with Hollywood's current lack of creativity it's only a matter of time before someone picks POTO up again. Hell, they're already remaking The Wolfman, if that turns out succesful they might start bringing back other Universal horror classics.

Haha, I'm inclined to agree with you on the ALW stuff, but to each his own, I suppose.

Well, I know that they're remaking Phantom of the Paradise, which is a film I actually *adore*. XD *dodges tomatoes* I wish they'd do a horror-esque remake of PotO with an actually ugly phantom. A lot of people are calling for a Burton-version, but I think my head would explode if Johnny Depp ended up playing Erik, which is exactly what would happen XD Plus, I've been so disenchanted with his recent films, I just don't think I could stand it. Thoughts?

First of all, I loooooooove Phantom of the Paradise! So no tomatoes from me! Hell, I didn't even know they were remaking it...for real?

Second, screw "horror-esque"! I want them to do a straight-up Gothic Horror movie for PotO again. That's the main reason I want the Wolfman remake to succeed! So Universal Studios can get to work on restoring their old monsters to their former glory! PotO most of all!...yeah, I know it's a long shot, but hope springs eternal.

Third, Tim Burton already made a POTO movie, it was called Batman Returns (seriously, it's more of a phantom movie than it is a Batman movie). And yeah, Tim needs to lay off the Deppster for a bit. The problem with casting Johnny Depp as Erik is that Johnny Depp has become one of those actors who is bigger than any of the roles he plays (except maybe Jack Sparrow) so if Johnny was to play Erik it would be just that, Depp as Erik...better to avoid that.

Haha, thank you! I was Christine as well as the vocalist for the theme song; unfortunately, I sounded rather crappy that day XD Since I've been sick, though, I've been unable to provide a better recording; let's just hope someone else volunteers soon, eh?
