offered mysteries
intoxicating fruits
tasted from the serpent tree
a series of words
written in hypnotic rhyme
open gateways beyond
as the seeker stands
in ritual attire
with sword raised
in a circle of names
symbols of power
candles lit
and incense burns
for only upon
a special hour
can some secrets be learned
