Description Queen of the Damned ©

blow your hot breath
of smoke, of fire
invoke to me that which I desire
by the starless sky
and moon of black
bring to me secrets
that I seek
oh ancient prince
oh lord of night
in honor of you
these candles I light
to burn with the power
of flames from where
you dwell
arise to me from
smoldering pits
and grant me the powers of your hell
my body your vessel to do with
as you wish
fulfill you now with
the pleasure of flesh
consumed in your darkness
exhumed as a corpse
fill me with your essence
from your cup I drink
fill my eyes with shadows
and my lips with your wisdom
as I am of you
and reside in your kingdom
where ghouls, ghosts
spectres and fiends rule supreme
as my loyal subjects
where I am their bat-winged queen

It reminds me of one of those hardcore fantasy novels. You are a talented writer!

The ancient chant to accompany the dance
in which both interweave as divinity.

The Rite is exchanged by both the beloved-damned.
Though a Binding it also may be.
(rarely one to speak of these things so lightly...)

Compelling. ~bows~

Very interesting poem... I wonder though... to wich divinit was it intended to? Because (and pardon my being so simple minded) it seems to be refred to a God and not a Goddess. I could image it being related with Lucifer, the barer of Light, but I might be wrong! Anyway... nice work!
