a gibbous moon illuminates shadows
that grow to the ancient words
which stir creatures
from beyond and below
frogs that leap across thresholds of time
beating drums manifest a spider glowing
with kalas that sparkle and glisten illusions
which spin in vortexes
that trap the unexpected dead
of necromantic rites performed
amidst flashing lighning and howling beast
crawling upon the throne
the serpent with the horns of a goat
and wings with like that of enormous bat
extraterrestrial entities of watery grave
where gather the emissaries
to tear asunder realities rotting veil
a gateway to a buzzing hive
tendrils reaching beyond daath
pulling through to a hideous light
that freezes the earth
and tosses stars into a gaping abyss
dusk has come
and we welcome the encroaching black night
