We all need protection from the Sun

and the sun rays was created by me ^^ Texture used : [link]
Merge with some yellow layer and increased contrast ^^
Just got this idea while trying to attach those UV filter onto the lens

Strange . . . I took a completely different meaning to the picture. o.O I hope this doesn't offend you. I've been very negative today. I felt like the tree is someone being oppressed, and the umbrella is the oppressor, and that even though the umbrella (by order of the tree and maybe the birds) isn't "touching" or "near" the tree anymore, it's still causing a negative effect by blocking the sun so the tree doesn't get the light it needs to survive. 
I guess it's because umbrellas have always been sad objects to my mind xD I love them, though, and it is still a very nice picture

I agree with you that the trees need sun light to live , but don't you notice that too much sun light can also kill the trees ?? For example , if you put some orchid under the sunlight for so long , even though you water it well , along with fertilizer , it still die , eventually . We all need a roof above our head , and that's what I was trying to create here
I understand that sometimes , we can't control what everyone might do to hurt us , it's just a part of life anyway , so , we better get use to it ^^ and yes , umbrella was really is a sad thing , it always come with the rain , but it also give you a great shelter from being wet and cold

I really love the grainy texture to the picture. If a few smaller things, like maybe flowers, were red I think it would be perfect. ;3

yeah , I think of that too , but when I put the flower into the scene , they just too small to be seen , so I get rid of it and tried to make people focus onto my point
