i really need to improve my editing skills....i'm just learning and i need some advices,so....please.......help

This is pretty good if you just begin with Photoshop, but your layering deserves to be improved...
When you put an element on another (for example, the eye or the mouth), let's work with a very close plan...
Then, everybody work in different ways, according to his favourites tools...
When I wanna do something like changing the eyecolor, I take the whole eye, with the skin around, with the lasso... I copy/paste it in a new layer, and I change de color... Then, I check if it's well placed on the original picture, with the little eye next to your layer, and I do a big close up on the element... I take the eraser, really sharp and with a little size, and I erase slowly and carefully...
