The 'Land now Lost' Pokedex features Pokemon that lived on Mosanto and it's Outer Islands long ago, but have since succumbed to their inevitable extinction for one reason or another, these events may have happened millions of years ago or relatively recently, regardless, with specific technology available to Mosanto after reestablishing connection to the Outside World, these long-gone creatures may once again see the light of day. Extinction need not be forever.

Pandillum - The Pangol Pokemon.
A close relative to the SMACHEATER, PANDILLUM are the former 'Adult' stage of the Pokemon ARDILLUM. Dispite it's size, PANDILLUM are actually quite strong and robust, it's arm muscles are almost spring loaded, ready to dig through rock and tough soil to get to the juicy grubs and worms that lye beneath the surface, however, while this makes PANDILLUM great at digging, PANDILLUM's arms are sadly, not useful for much else, because PANDILLUM's arms bend INWARDS, PANDILLUM are unable to climb or hold onto objects. PANDILLUM's scales are it's greatest defense, if threatened, PANDILLUM will roll into a ball and half bury itslef beneath the surface, as PANDILLUM's spikes lock together, this gives it an almost polished surface which reflects claws and teeth with little to no trouble, like trying to break through a large marble. The cloudy Gemstone on PANDILLUM's head is said to change color based on it's mood, or if it is trying to woo a potential mate, this gemstone would prove to be PANDILLUM's downfall, not only were PANDILLUM prized targets for Unovan Poachers who would often invade the Outer Islands PANDILLUM called home, these poachers would capture PANDILLUM in the HUNDREDS at a time, skinning them, tearing off thier scales and gem and throwing the bodies out to the scavengers, any PANDILLUM that survived this treatment were left defenseless and mentally scarred, this became such an issue that PANDILLUM eventually lost the ability to evolve altogether, now living life as ARDILLUM from birth to grave. While PANDILLUM can no longer be found in the wild, it IS possible to evolve an ARDILLUM into a PANDILLUM using a rare 'OLDWORLD STONE', an item said to be able to draw out long lost power form specific species that retain this genetic memory.

Reason for Extinction:
In a desperate bid to escape the threat of over-poaching, ARDILLUM collectively lost the ability to evolve further, this has helped return their numbers to the way they were, but it appears, outside of evolving through Oldworld Stones, Wild PANDILLUM are lost to time.

Abilities:
Rock Head - Prevents the user from receiving RECOIL damage.
Unaware - The user ignores the foe's STAT changes.
Hidden Ability:
Skill Link - Attacks that hit multiple times will ALWAYS hit 5 times.
