but one of the reasons ganondorf isn't sealed is because of link who HAPPENS to wake up to a day and say "Hey. I'm gonna save the world and pull up some sacred sword and pretend that's not at all my fault." :]

Yeah, I think of the fairies as more along the lines of the powers like Din' fire that you got in OoT.
I always thought it was weird though that like, the big strong (but totally cucco) Gorons would let a puny adolescent enter an active volcano full of monsters. Alone. Or that those Kakarikan people just let some kid crawl around in their zombie-infested well. Alone.

Well, in OoT, it was a Kokiri sword for a Kokiri. And I guess you could argue that in other games, like Wind Waker, it was a coming of age thing- and a necessity.
Well, I guess there's evidence that Link was raised pacifist in Wind Waker. But whatever. XD
