Description
a card game called trll (t-r-L) featured in the book that i'm writing.
Each deck has 130 cards, 5 suits numbered 1-12 x2, 5 royal cards one of each suit, 5 coin cards and 22 triangle cards called trll (of which the game is named after), 11 of these have fully coloured pictures, these cards can be any number of their suit and can be added to the players hand in place of a card (for example their hand could be 123t5 of crowns which the trll acting as the 4), the other 11 have black pictures, they are shadow trll, these make any card that has the same suit unplayable.
Card game rules
Each player gets 5 cards
Upon viewing their hand each player (clockwise from the dealer) either folds or places the starting bet of 3 coins (any player can raise the bet) into the pot.
Each player can, at the cost 1 coin per card, exchange a card in their hand for one in the deck up 3 times or at the cost of 5 coins the player can draw up to 1 triangle card. (the coins spent go into the pot). an alternate version of the game has these coins go into a jackpot which can only be claimed by someone whose hand consits of five royals or five coins.
After all players have had a chance to switch cards or draw a triangle card the next betting round begins after which each player reveals their hand and the winner claims the pot, if there is a draw the pot is either split or each remaining player removes one card from their hand and draws a new one and whoever has the winning hand wins, if no one still doesn't win this is repeated until there is a winner.
