o_o So I have learned that foxes are intensely compelling. Wow. Thank you for all the favs on the lineart of this! I think I shall at least print postcards of this. ^^ For conventions. Anybody want one? %D
Also, I had fun. >3< Such a spontaneous illustration. It really makes me wish I could illustrate childrens' books, adorable animals are that enjoyable. I JUST WANT TO DO A BAJILLION OF THEM.
Nerd question: O_o I wonder if Ninetails can even nurse her young. I think she looks like a mammal .... but I guess vulpix comes out of an egg? nuuuuh!

Magical, congrats on the Daily Deviation, well deserved, and one of the most beautiful DD I've seen in ages too 
Working with watercolours is so fun and I love the colours you've used in this, soft autmn, warm colours - I also love foxes, I wish I could own one as a pet but they don't tame at all well apparently.
I love how you can see all the layering and the fox itself with the babies is gorgeous. Love the details, and also like the fact that its "traditional" art, looks wonderful

Simply stunning. Love it.
Personally, I've never liked the whole "All Pokemon come from eggs" bit, and I, personally, choose to think that the various species reproduce like what they look like, birds lay eggs, mammals give live birth, etc.... makes it much more natural (though of course the whole evolution thing throws in a whole other bit).
Anyways, a stunning piece of work, the watercolors are wonderful.

I have a nerd answer! In one of the movies (i believe) it showed a pokemon family, I forget which kind. The female appeared to be doing something very similar to nursing to her young. I think they're like platoipi in the sense that they're mammals, but lay eggs. Seems to be very likely since a lot of the pokemon are mammalian based.
