Eyagra stepped back, her chest heaving as she drew in labored breaths. She had just struck Blythe. She looked down in horror at her bloodied paw, tears welling in her eyes. "Blythe I-I..." She began, but was quickly cut off.
"M-my mother?" Blythe stammered, her eyes flashing wild with anger, "what do you mean, alongside my mother?!"

Eyagra hesitated, desperately searching for an escape, searching for something she could say to take back every word that had tumbled from her furious mouth. What Eyagra had said, had been spoken in anger. Surely she didn't mean it... Blythe was the only one she had... wasn't she? She opened her mouth, but no sound came.

Blythe felt the warm sticky blood well around the wound before dripping down her cheek, leaving a trail of red in it's wake. Without any words, Blythe backed up, the salty tears stinging her eyes. Quickly she turned around and ran towards the forest... and away from Eyagra, the venomous words circling in her mind.

"I should have left you to die! Right alongside your mother!"
