I bejewel the skyWith ever-sparkling diamonds
Hand cut by the arc angels.
I keep company
With the blue-gray glowing sphere
That illuminates the sky.
I am the stars
Glistening light-years away
Yet close enough to touch.
I am visible
In the absence of skyscrapers
And the smog of the city.
I paint patterns
That tell mythical fantasies
And tails of kings and gods.
Lovers gaze upon me.
Children laugh and wonder.
The world sleeps
Beneath my silent lullaby.
