These are more of my character portraits inspired by 's portraits of her various characters from the long running vaguely x-men themed RP that we participated in for years. I'm going through and doing the characters more or less as they were accepted to the RP.

So, this is Vision, Mirage 's elder sister and the leader of sorts of my menagerie of characters. She was submitted first, but her more serious nature was giving me art block so Mirage got doodled first.

Vision's been protecting her younger sister for her entire life, and that tendency just sort of carried over to the majority of my other characters. She has an almost compulsive need to act as the shield for anyone close to her. As a result of that, Vision is absolutely ruthless in protecting anything she sees as hers. If you mess with her sister, her boyfriend, or her business, you're in for a world of pain.

Like her sister, and many of my other beginning characters, Vision is also massively overpowered by any concept of mutant character creation. If the fur, feline features and agility, wall clinging, prehensile tail and the innate ability to shape shift wasn't enough, she also has a tendency to create violent thunder storms when she gets annoyed (which she can't control and refuses to admit to causing) and has an uncanny knack with mechanical and electrical things of all types. This results in a stupid amount of high tech toys and a perchance for powerful motorcycles. She's got a significant amount of money thanks to a business based on her technical savvy. To top it all off, unlike most shape shifters, if she takes the form of a mutant she's also able to use their mutant powers... If at a mildly reduced capacity and with the result of knocking her out for a good day or two afterward.

Oh, her fur is also jade green with navy blue tabby stripes which is something you can't tell from a black and white ink job. Ah, the joys of being 14 years old eh? *amused* I promise, my characters did get less over-the-top as I matured.
