Another drabble trade I did with *Babble-chan I've been on the biggest wolf high Much Buckthorne and Natalie cuteness abound n.n But yeah. She picked the concept of babies, and I decided it should involve Buckthorne and Natalie, but her written part turned into something that only slightly referred to babies But it ended on a cute note, so I went with that |D

Basically, the drabble was a sort of written indirect conversation. Like, it wasn't the characters interacting directly, it was more their interaction was being documented, in a format sense. If that makes any sense. So I basically threw in some of my own reasoning and artistic liberty to illustrate it into a direct scene

But the jist of it was; Buckthorne was explaining to Natalie that it's better/easier to be a male, instead of a female. Now this almost sounds a big bragging, which isn't very Buckthorne, so my reasoning as to how this would work, canon wise? They were watching a movie 8D

Something chick flick ish, in which the male character is forced to come to terms with his feminine side, to understand women better. I figure, maybe out of random, Natalie might have jokingly asked Buckthorne if he could come back in another life as a female, would he? To which he would answer no, saying that it's better/easier to be a male

But getting back to the drabble that was written The ending was my favourite part, since it ended on a perfectly Buckthorne touch :3 Here's the part here (a reminder: Babble-chan wrote this, not me)

Finally, though, Buckthorne tells her the most important reason. It’s better to be a man because if Buckthorne wasn’t a man, Natalie wouldn’t have wanted to be with him.

(Part of me wants to be cheeky and say that's not entirely true; Natalie would totally go lesbian for him as a girl ;D *HIT* Oh alright, just kidding XP)

So Buckthorne would have said that, and this is what I was trying to get across with this image here, in response. Buckthorne would totally be looking somewhere between bashful and smitten "Heh, you still love me, right? "

These two are so cute D: *dies* But oh! Before anyone mentions, yes, if you've seen this commission that *sonitweek did for me: [link] Yes I did use the pyjamas she drew them in, and I give her full credit for them! They just looked so nice, I couldn't help drawing them on my own, to see how it looked ^^ (hope you don't mind, Manuella!) Twas fun :3
