Starcraft 2: Protoss AssimilatorModeled by Phill Gonzales, final texture pass by Ted Park!
The Protoss Assimilator went through a few revisions before we decided upon the current version in-game. The Starcraft 1 Assimilator seemed a little silly compared to some of the other more detailed buildings. The intention for the update was to showcase the functionality a little better by actually seeing the little gas cubes being manufactured inside.
