Description
This seems like he could have been deceptively simple to colour. Bit of green, bit of purple, something to contrast as a background, boom, Hulk done, right? Well, I wanted there to be a sense of depth to everything, so it took a few different shades and a couple of different layers of colour to build up the skin tone. I also added some faint blue colour to the veins to make them look a bit different from the rest of his skin. I though about using a different colour for his trousers, but meh, it's a classic for a reason. I think they turned out pretty decently though. I decided to add the orange splash around him, really just to make him jump out from the white of the page a bit more. So on the whole, I think that this little Hulk sketch has turned out quite well.
