Been raining lightly off and on for a couple of days, so lots of early morning dew. Wonder what the world looks like to this wet little dragonfly when it wakes up with little magnifying lens all over its eyes.Related content

I love this photo because it really brings us into the life of the critter, showing something both everyday and simultaneously incredible. Macro shots are great because a lot of people take the small things for great, but you prove time and again that paying attention to the little guy will sometimes let a person stumble upon an interesting and unexpected twist. The color, focus, and lighting are great here, but the moment steals the show. Wonderful photo!
