Description
Speed paint with my junior. It took me 15-20 minutes. It was raining, so the theme was moody rain. I did not have any strong feeling while painting this, just let my hand do his job. But after the session, i had a stronger feeling, very much similiar to the feeling when i was painting [link] . I was a great experience tho, i had a new direction after doing this painting. Why is this poor fella standing in the rain? Is he waiting for someone? or something? or something from someone? I have always love the feeling of rainy days, i remember i used to sitting on my bed, staring at the sky or the street when i was raining when i was younger and staying at my sister's house's guest room.
Never give up, don't make giving up your habit. We can change what we don't like and get the life when want as long as we work hard enough. Life is full of hopes.

I really like this piece. The brush strokes are utterly captivating. They remind me a bit of impressionist paintings, which I've always admired for their ability to capture a snapshot of an ordinary moment that was very real and that the same time, distorted and blurry. Another feature that I really love is the contrast between the dreary blue of the background, and the warm light of the streetlamp. I LOVE how you carried its glow onto the person in the picture and onto the ground slightly. I also admire the blurred lights that spread along the bottom half of the picture. Finally, you get the feeling of isolation across masterfully. I think its because of the intelligent use of negative space-one side of the picture is practically blank yet no less striking because of it. Truly, a beautiful piece of art.

no problem. it annoys me when people take credit for other people's work.

I reported that deviation already, that fella seems to be an inactive deviant, most probably not familiar with the rules here, I forgive him but I do wanna thank you again, God bless you

no problem. i'm really careful about that. i'm trying to get back into drawing, but i feel like even using the same pose someone else drew something in is theft, even though i wouldn't consider it a big deal for other people to do that. i want to be original, but i think i've lost the skill to draw what i'm thinking

I think it would be okay if you use someone else' pose for studies and pratising but not for artwork that you will post online or share with other people. It is good that you wanna be original, a lot of people don't think like that

k, yeah. it's kinda hard though, since basically every pose has been done before, kinda like how every sound has already been made between musicians.

It has gotten harder and harder to be creative but we can be innovative instead

Hmmm. I really love this piece with all my heart! It's really beautiful. I love the cordination of the colors/colours and shapes. The circles at the bottom really pull it together nicely... And I really know what you meant in your artists comments. You really brought me into the painting... Great work!!! Really! It's exquisite... And eventhough you didn't feel anything strong while doing this painting, you really captured the emotin in it... I can't quite put my finger on it. I like it. It adds a sense of mystery... I also love love LOVE the reflection of the light off of the falling rain!!! It's gorgeous!!!

This is amazing. The feeling it gives is so... sad, but mystical all the same. Nice work.

I love the rain, it makes people just stop and think. Taking walks out in the rain is fun as well, I don't know why. Everybody who likes to walk in the rain doesn't know why, maybe it's just the emotions that it digs up, but I guess we'll never know. All I know that rain will bring you both up and down at the same time, which is an odd, but temporarily satisfying effect.

Splendid theme and emotion shown here!
I love the brush strokes, and how you've changed the color of the rain when near the lamp. The simple glow around the person's head is also a beautiful touch

Though you said the theme was moody, I don't think it is... the guy is just enjoying a night in the rain. I love rain. I wished it rained all the time... but that's just me. Amazing picture!
