Finally it is holiday!! After finishing most of my other works, i started painting this picture for about 5 days, on and off, this is my first digital painting that was done 100% using photoshop, without working on a handrawn lineart. I used quite alot of layers while i was painting this in order to create better depths. I was inspired by my favourite artists, Matt Gaser and Dodecaden. Comments please, tell me what is wrong with this painting and i hope you people will like it, thanks!!Related content

The whale was fantastic, that's what attracted me to it; sort of reminded me of things and characters I'd seen in my childhood as well.

nice atmosphere!~ looks like a scene from a children's fantasy movie or some sort
the only thing that bugs me is the blue kick light on the right side of the kid's head.. other than that is very nice~

thank you, yup, i bought a very lame graphire 3 tablet last year with rm300 in sunway, not recommanded, it is very small n so sensitive at all, wat 2 do, im poor, dat was wat oni i could afford...XD
