FBB and FMG admirers of a certain age will remember being blown away by Raye Hollit in the film "Skin Deep" she went to have a modest career in film and TV. I think most of you will remember her as "Zap" in the original American Gladiators. I found this old piece of yellow school paper and her name immediately popped in my head. From the 80s I think, after I saw the film.BTX

Blake Edwards will always have a place in my heart, not just for the Pink Panther movies, but for casting Raye Hollitt in Skin Deep and then not having her portray the character in a degrading or denigrating way. (In fact, in many ways Raye's character Lonnie Jones is the most normal character in the movie!)
When so many movies seem to want to cast women bodybuilders only as the ex-girlfriend from hell, the lesbian "enforcer" of some crime boss (Cory Everson in Double Impact, for example, or an alien/cyborg assassin from outer space/the future, it was refreshing to see an FBB portrayed as actually desirable!
