Description
So that thing I was talking about is finally done. And by "that thing", I mean the original, slightly remixed LEGO Island 1 Information Center.I've been trying to upload it to Flickr, but that has been...less than successful. So I'm uploading here first.
Anyway, the INFORMATION CENTER AND ALL ITS GLORY! After two Pick-A-Brick orders, six Bricklink orders, and scavenging through my own collection of parts, the Information Center is finally complete as the first building to my eventual "LEGO Island Tribute" town.
Let's go exploring, shall we?

Most impressive work, my friend! You've finally accomplished the greatest dream of any LEGO Island fan - to have built a physical model of the most iconic building of the series, the Information Center! Looking at these photos, I'm impressed by all the detail you've managed to fit inside the interior as well; I'm glad to see this isn't just a facade.
Also, the obligatory GREEN RED BRICK reference made me chuckle.

Man, I wish I had the time and parts and money to do this myself... though then again, I have been considering trying to make my own version with taking inspiration from the architecture of the Xtreme Tower incarnation.
