Holy Jesus. I never leave "Thanks for the fav" or "Thanks for the comment" things. Generally I just take a poke around the other persons gallery. Hand out the occassional favourite if I really like something. (I think I fav'd that McDonalds one.. if not I meant to).
Some people fav too much though. Kinda makes it a bit meaningless really. (which, well, it kind of is)

lol, i like comments more i think, i love faves tho obviously, i have an emote i made called favewhore, i have a few amongst my watchers who hit watch and then fave like 7 or 8 emotes etc lol, but leavin comments when i got a DD was cool cos most ppl only saw the DD, when they saw my comment theyd sometimes come n have a good look at my page n gimme mooooore

I love the combo. Fav and a comment. That's the best way to be.
It staggers me though.. people who have about a million favourites on a deviation..
The secret seems to be drawing pictures based around popular culture figures... my Gizmo picture got more favourites than any other thing I did (like.. 8 which is woah for me).
Oh that and community art.
The only bit of community art I ever did was "I support NOT supporting jark" which was me slicing Jark in half. Plus it was a shitty drawing.

That's another thing, art with heaps of detail can be a bit skanky sometimes.. as it'd take 50 years to load.
